María Luisa Avellán has a Bachelor’s degree in Science Communication from the Tecnológico University of Monterrey in Mexico. She also obtained her Master’s Degree in Administration in the same University. 

She created and oversaw the Corporate Communication area in the Financial Group of the Banco del Pacífico in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

She additionally created and looked over the Representation Campus of the Tec. University of Monterrey in Guayaquil, and then directed the campus installed in Lima.

She taught at the School of Communication in the Universidad Casa Grande of Guayaquil.

She created and oversaw Invertel S.A.C. Company, a self owned business in the public telephone sector.

María currently carries out communication consultancies, mainly covering topics related to Internal Communication and Strategic Planning, which has been done with Condor Travel SA, Stratos Renewables Inc., Icono Comunicadores SA, Patronato de Chorrillos Histórico, amongst others.
